Afternoon Enrichment Classes
All classes are 40 minutes each unless otherwise noted.
Pre-k thru first This age group will be doing a story time, play centers, and recess games. Our main focus is socialization and learning to play well with friends. (Both Class Hours) Teacher: TBA
First Afternoon Class hour
In this class we will be working on drawing/sketching techniques, watercolor techniques, and oil pastel techniques.

ASL Song – The ASL Song class is a fun interactive way to introduce sign language. The students will be learning the alphabet, their name, and motions to songs.

Lego STEM- In this Lego stem class students will be challenged to build the weekly theme provided discovering architecture and engineering and presenting their master pieces at the end of each class.
STEM- These think tank challenges will teach group cooperation, promote communication skill building and sharpen critical thinking problem solving skills.
Games & Logic- In this class students will be challenged with logic style games and mind-bending puzzles. They will test their strategy and risk analysis skills.
(This class is the full 1.5 hours of classes for the afternoon so you will only select this option for class)
Second Afternoon Class Hour
Nature Study- This class will be an exploration class they will be learning about birds, plants, insects and all things nature.

Handicrafts- This class is a hands-on class where students will be learning new skills with projects. This class will require some items to be brought from home. A list will be emailed to the parent. They will be learning how to upcycle and create with thrifted items, crochet, hand sew, String Art, Jewelry making, ECT…… Their creative hands will be busy!

P.E.- This class introduces multiple sports skills and workout techniques and allows the students to learn team cooperation. They play kickball, basketball, football, soccer, and obstacle track & field games.

Music Recorder- Students will have fun sparking their creativity in the performing arts! The class will teach your students to read music, recognize notes and play the recorder.

Improv- Students will learn the skills of thinking on their feet, improve voice projection, play fun interactive games to get them out of their comfort zone and film a improv skit.
